Feature Roundup: Discover the New Features of LogMeIn Rescue for 2024.

At LogMeIn Rescue, we're committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in IT support. 2024 has been a year of transformation, with features designed to elevate IT operations to new heights. Whether you're managing devices, maintaining privacy, or integrating with your favorite tools, Rescue has enhancements that will make your work more efficiently and effectively. Let's take a closer look at the 2024 releases that help redefine remote support.

Web Technician Console

LogMeIn Rescue Web Technician Console accessible directly in the browser, with no downloads required.

Say goodbye to cumbersome downloads. The new Web Technician Console brings next-level remote support straight to your browser. Agents can now access a modern, simplified console that works seamlessly on both desktop and mobile devices. You can run both attended and unattended sessions, with powerful in-session features like chat, reboot and reconnect, and system info. Imagine reducing response times and enhancing customer satisfaction—all without leaving your browser.

Agents can also connect to Android and iOS devices through the Web Technician Console to resolve issues quickly. Change the configuration, follow the mobile screen, or take full control if required. It's streamlined, it's accessible, and it's just a click away.

Redesigned Device Manager

LogMeIn Rescue redesigned device manager UI makes it easy for admins to organize devices and set sharing permissions.

Managing a large number of devices just got a whole lot easier. The revamped Device Manager offers an intuitive UI that provides simplified and scalable device management. Admins can effortlessly group devices, set sharing permissions at scale, and quickly locate and connect to devices. This makes staying organized and efficient a breeze, even as your IT environment grows.

  • Updated Grouping: A new sleek and powerful device management UI that allows Admins to easily edit and organize their devices into groups and decide which users or Technician Groups they are shared with. You can then filter the devices that fall in the groups.
  • Non-Admin device access: Now technicians will be able to authenticate to Unattended Devices with non-admin credentials.
  • New UI for Technician Console: We are standardizing the device view for both Admins and Technicians. Technicians can easily filter and search for the devices they have been given access to and get connected in seconds.

Unattended Privacy Mode

LogMeIn Rescue Unattended Privacy Mode protecting sensitive data by restricting what the host device can see or do.

Protecting sensitive data is paramount, and our Unattended Privacy Mode ensures your information remains secure during remote sessions for owned and managed devices. When activated, this feature restricts what the host device can see or do by blanking the screen and locking keyboard and mouse input from the end devices.

Enabling screen blanking during a remote session is a security measure to protect sensitive data. An agent has no visibility or control over who may be present near the remote device. By blocking the screen of an unattended device, you ensure that anyone physically present at the host device sees only a blank screen while the remote session is active. This prevents accidental exposure of confidential information and protects sensitive data.
